Hyperactivity means a person seems restless and may seem to move about constantly  even in situations where it may not be appropriate to do so, like classroom.   Excessive fidgeting, talking , movement are few  evident characteristics. IQ and hyperactivity are two different constructs.

Hi Children with hyperactivity are mostly driven as if by a motor, they r unable to remain seated, or squirm in their seats if they’re seated. Unable to finish task at hand before jumping to another. Likewise there are many such characteristics of hyperactivity that can b found over the internet.
