HSG report says small cervix canal os meaning narrow and fallopian tube not opacified. This means natural conception not possible?? What can be done

A narrow cervical canal may make dye entry difficult. Tube not opacified can mean tubal block or technical spasm. 👉 Repeat HSG / SSG or diagnostic laparoscopy may be advised for confirmation

A narrow cervical canal can make HSG difficult, and non-opacified tubes on HSG do NOT always mean true tubal block. Sometimes dye does not pass due to cervical spasm or technical reasons. This does not confirm that natural conception is impossible. What can be done: • Repeat HSG with cervical dilatation or under guidance • Diagnostic laparoscopy (gold standard) to check tubes • Many women conceive naturally after HSG • If tubes are truly blocked, options like IUI/IVF can help Please consult a fertility specialist for further evaluation and next steps.

As per this report both tubes are not patent At least one tube should be open for natural conception In case of both tubes blocked natural conception is not possible
