How does 12 weeks pregnant symptoms pain

I am a 32 year old woman and I am 12 weeks pregnant. Everything was going well until last night when I started feeling some pain in my belly. Is there any cause for 12 weeks pregnant pain or is it something that always happens? Can someone help me as this thing is freaking me out. Thanks!!

Some amount of pain can be normal during pregnancy but if you feel that it was too much it is better to consult your gynecologist for a clinical examination and also to rule out other causes of pain including threatened abortion
