My husband has a tooth decay on his wisdom tooth which is located on the left side lower jaw. His wisdom tooth is also horizontal in nature. Please advice on best possible course of action.

hello, you need to visit a dentist get it checked. get an xray done. the best treatment for the wisdom tooth is to get it removed.

Please see a dentist, since u already have a radiograph, I suppose, because u r of the opinion that it is horizontal, The infection from the tooth may spread, if not treated. The doctor will start with antibiotics and analgesics. The said tooth needs to be extracted .

Hello Mam, As his wisdom tooth is already impacted horizontally and is decayed,the best thing would be to get it removed as these teeth can damage the adjacent sound teeth as well. Regards Dr Sumanmakam
