Homeopathy dose

2022-05-13 09:05:40
What happens if we use 4 drops of 200 potency of any medicine in place of 2 drops. Will it be considered as overdose? After taking drops on tongue, there is burning sensation for few seconds. Is it normal or I am taking it in wrong way? Can we drink green tea while on homeopathy medication?

Obviously u can take drops on tongue, but the thing u have to observe is with overdose of any medicine is not good(if its taken mistakenly for one or two times then it's cool). Best thing is Homoeopathy medicines have no side effects. Next, If u r getting burning sensation for few seconds it's OK, but u r getting more then dissolve with pure water with same quantity of medicine. Surely Green tea can be taken , but gap of minimum 30 mins to be maintained before and after taking dose of medicine.

1. 4 drops instead of 2 is not an overdose. 2. It's normal to have a burning sensation for a few seconds. However, if that is too difficult or unpleasant, you can dissolve the medicine in 2 tbsp normal water and take that instead. 3. It's ok to drink green tea, but try to keep a gap of  half an hour between homeopathic medicine and food/drinks (except water).

Do not worry. It hardly matters if you have taken 4 drops instead of 2. You can take green tea while on medication but keep a gap of 40-50  minutes between medicine and tea

I usually advice my patients to consume liquid meds diluted in half a cup of water which according to me is the proper way.

Hello, take your Homoeopathy medicine as per your doctors advice as the doctor knows your body's adaptability better. The 200 potency will be usually given in pills if your doctor gave you drops then have it as per instruction - usually mixed with 100 ml of water so you dont feel the burning sensation. But, dont worry the extra drops for a single episode wont hurt you. Green tea you can take but confirm with your doctor. To know more and for any other concern you can call us or reach us online.

It is better to take homoeopathic medicine in the form of pills. Doses are evenly distributed . If liquid is prescribed then it has to be taken diluted in water. The doses are different

No few drops more or less does not make any difference. The burning sensation is because of the alcohol content in the medicine.
