Hives all over the body

My son have red patches all over the body.it is itching a lot. He doesn't sleep properly at night.i think it is hives of urticaria..please help me out..n suggest some remedy for it.as he is continuously crying..

Hello , how old is your son ? How many days he has been having this problem ? Anyway at present you could apply Histocalamin or Atarax lotion for temporary relief but you will have to give antihistamines syrup like Benedryl or levocetrizine by mouth dose will depend upon body weight of child so get in touch with more information

It's is urticaria. Is it repeated or just one off incident. Give cetrizine or atarax syp as per age. in case of continues itching, lactocalamine lotion can be applied.
