2024-01-21 21:58:47
I started gym in the month of October and I started somewhat dieting as well since then I am constipated. But since a month I am very highly constipated due to this I stopped dieting and have started eating proper food since few days but still I am highly constipated and today I noticed blood as well in stool. I am very scared this didn't happen before I joined gym after I joined gym I am constipated and since a month even after. Have started taking eating proper amount of food still I am constipated and today I noticed blood I am very very scared. Is it some cancer? Like colon or rectum or stomach? I am scared please suggest me some medications or anything

Hi, You mentioned making diet changes.. Were you taking a lot of fiber? Too much fiber and not enough water can cause constipation. There is an obvious correlation between your diet/activity and appearance of symptoms.. Being constipated for a some time now, you may have developed fissures hemorrhoids.
Next Steps
Increase water intake to 3 liters a day Stop synthetic fiber and take natural ones in fruits and veges. As you are bleeding, it is time to consider laxatives to prevent further bleed.
Health Tips
If the bleed is more than a teaspoon, see a doctor asap.

You don't need to be scared .The constipation may have caused bleeding while passing the stool. To avoid  fissure,Make sure you drink adequate water ,use a high fibre diet and use a stool softener like lactulose 20-30 ml once daily for a few days .

It is highly unlikely that you have cancer at this age and due to just one month of gymming. Cancer usually takes a long time to occur. The blood probably is due to constipation. Eat high fibre containing food. Avoid spicy and oily food. Drink plenty of fluids. Connect for more details.
