My age 29 I am high myopia power stabiliesed...every year doing retina check up by indirect ophthalmoscopy ..doctor saying retina is good......i want to know exact situations of my retina what question should I ask my retina specialist during my upcoming checkup ??will lattice degeneration occur in future due to high myopia even now retina is okay ???

Hi. Retina doctor always does a complete eye checkup including fundus examination to rule out any lattice degeneration or retinal holes. You need to have regular check ups every 6 months or report earlier if you have any flashes or floaters..

No one can predict when lattice will develop..
Sometimes you dont need to treat also even if lattice is there ..
