Your reports are normal except mild elevation of LDH which is a non specific enzyme. Since most of the important enzymes are unaffected this LDH elevation is mostly due to muscle exertion and probably dehydration
Next Steps
-Avoid heavy exercise for 48 hours -hydrate well

Your liver function tests show elevated LDH,rest are normal. LDH is non specific, could be raised by many factors, exercise is one of them.Repeat the test after a few days without prior physical activity

Othe liver function tests are normal. There is nothing to worry,  it is a non specific enzymes, could be on higher side due to the walk.

Hello friend, LDH is mildly elevated (513). But all other liver tests are normal. LDH is not only a liver enzyme , it is also present in muscles. You did the test just 2 hours after hill climbing, so this mild increase is most likely due to muscle exertion. This is common and usually temporary. No need to panic. Repeat the test after 5–7 days: • Avoid heavy exercise for 48 hours before test • Stay well hydrated If it normalizes, nothing to worry about.

Dear patient I understand you’re worried 🤍 Let me explain this calmly. First, LDH (Lactate Dehydrogenase) is an enzyme present in many tissues — liver, heart, muscles, blood cells. A mildly high LDH alone is usually NOT serious, especially if: You did hill climbing / brisk morning walk just 2 hours before the test You were fasting Other LFT parameters (SGOT/AST, SGPT/ALT, bilirubin, ALP) are normal 👉 Exercise can temporarily increase LDH, especially after muscle strain or climbing. Muscle activity releases LDH into blood. When is high LDH concerning? It becomes concerning if: It is very high (2–3 times upper limit) Liver enzymes (AST/ALT) are also high You have symptoms like: Persistent fever Severe weakness Yellow eyes (jaundice) Unexplained weight loss Important question for you: Are your AST, ALT, bilirubin normal? If yes → Most likely this is exercise-related temporary elevation. What I suggest: Don’t panic. Repeat LDH after 3–5 days No heavy exercise 48 hrs before test Normal routine Stay hydrated.

LDH can go high after heavy exercise like hill climbing, as it rises from muscle strain. If other liver tests are normal and you have no symptoms, usually it is not serious. Repeat the test after 3–5 days of rest and good hydration. Please consult me for proper diagnosis and treatment.

I Have reviewed your LFT profile and all the values are within the normal limit BUT your LDH is HIGH due to the Hill Climbing you’ve done prior to your Test. So i would suggest that you should repeat the LFT after 2-4 days and Consult me

I have reviewed your report carefully. Your Key Values: • Bilirubin (Total): 0.65 → Normal • AST (SGOT): 36 → Normal • ALT (SGPT): 41 → Upper normal • ALP: 106 → Normal • GGT: 27 → Normal • LDH: 513 (High)
Next Steps
✔ 1. Repeat LDH Properly Repeat after: • 3–5 days • No exercise for 48 hours • Good hydration • No heavy lifting Most likely it will normalize. ⸻ ✔ 2. Optional Check (If Repeat Still High) If still elevated: • Creatine Kinase (CK) → muscle origin • Peripheral smear → rule out hemolysis • CBC review But this is rarely needed if it normalizes. ⸻ ✔ 3. Seek evaluation only if: • Persistent elevation • Muscle pain • Dark urine • Fatigue • Fever • Weight loss Otherwise, no concern.
Health Tips
✔ Avoid workouts 24–48 hrs before blood tests ✔ Stay hydrated ✔ Do not interpret LDH alone ✔ Mild ALT variation can occur from exercise ✔ Always correlate clinically Your report does not show liver damage. LDH of 513 after hill climbing is very likely physiological. To avoid unnecessary anxiety, I suggest repeating the test under proper conditions. If you’d like, we can review the repeat result together in an online consultation and confirm that everything is completely safe.

All values are normal ,why you worry so much.ldh is high due to low oxygen level in hills and muscle fainting .so no worry ,all is well.

Doctor Advice — Elevated LDH (513) LDH (Lactate Dehydrogenase) is a non-specific enzyme found in many body tissues (muscles, liver, heart, blood cells). A value of 513 can appear elevated, very important. In your case, an important point is that you did hill climbing/exercise just before the test. Physical exertion commonly causes temporary rise in LDH due to muscle strain and is one of the most common harmless reasons for elevation. If the rest of your LFT parameters (SGOT, SGPT, bilirubin, ALP) are normal and you have no symptoms, this is usually not concerning. What you should do: • Repeat LDH after 3–5 days of complete rest (no heavy exercise) • Stay well hydrated before next test • No need for panic at this stage Further evaluation is only needed if LDH remains persistently high. Orr text me on Practo if you want report review or guidance after repeat test.
