High Ige level

Had covid 6 weeks back..had treatment at home. After 15 days had issues with breath and fatigue. Doctor prescribed inhaler foracart. I used it but I got throat infection after using it and stopped. Was given antibiotics. Meanwhile allergy symptoms showed up with heavy sneezing and running nose. Shortness of breath increased a bit. Changed the doctor and got tested IGe and PFT.PFT is normal but Ige is 3050...doctor prescribed medication for a month (Momeflo ,Montek BL)...Is it a concern and how much time it will take to reduce?

High IgE could be due to allergy/ parasitic infections etc. please consult a pulmonologist and do a regular follow up. It is important to treat your symptoms rather than only chasing the report.
