No need to worry, as lymph nodes are reducing in size. Raised CRP and ESR indicates active inflammation but as your lymph nodes are reducing in size your inflammation is also reducing, hense slowly your ESR and CRP levels will also come back to normal. Continues taking the treatment.

Swollen lymph nodes often indicate an ongoing inflammatory or infectious process, and it’s common for such inflammation to raise both ESR and CRP levels. Even when other tests appear normal, the elevated ESR (55) and CRP (37) suggest that your body is still experiencing inflammation. Since your lymph node swelling is gradually reducing, it could mean the underlying issue is resolving, but the inflammatory markers might remain high a little longer. It’s important to continue monitoring your symptoms and follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and to ensure the inflammation is subsiding over time.

Yes, swelling in lymph nodes can cause elevated ESR (55) and CRP (37) as these are markers of inflammation. However, since your swelling is gradually reducing, it may suggest that the initial cause (infection or inflammation) is resolving. However, persistent or significantly high levels of ESR and CRP can indicate: ✔ A chronic infection (such as tuberculosis or viral infections). ✔ Autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. ✔ Chronic inflammatory diseases. ✔ In rare cases, lymphoma or other malignancies (if lymph node swelling persists). Recommended next steps: ✔ Repeat ESR and CRP after a few weeks to check for trends. ✔ Consider tests like CBC, LDH, ANA, and a lymph node ultrasound if swelling persists. ✔ If symptoms worsen, a biopsy of the lymph node may be needed for further evaluation. To ensure you receive a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, I strongly recommend consulting me directly.
