Dialysis initiation is dependent upon clinical symptoms and certain lab parameters like creatinine urea potassium and bicarbonate.at 3.4 mg/dl creatinine level ,dialysis is not indicated.please follow CKD diet ,medications prescribed by nephrologist and strict follow up with nephrologist every 3 months for optimising medications.

Hello, Initiation of dialysis depends on patients signs and symptoms rather than only creatinine value.. usually patients develop symptoms above creatinine value of 5-6(varies with each patient)..she doesn’t require dialysis at this creatinine value..strictly follow CKD diet, avoid medications other than prescribed by Nephrologist, get creatinine test done every 3 months
