High c reactive protein

2026-09-13 03:00:24
My daughter is almost 4 years old and has been having an on-and-off fever for the past 10–12 days. Her blood tests showed an elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) level of 31.48 mg/L. The doctor recommended Augmentin for 6 days and Omnacortil for 2 days as a change in medication. However, after stopping Omnacortil, she developed a fever again at night, around 100°F.

Fever after stopping omnacortil can represent recurrence of the underlying inflammatory illness. Continue augmentin course . Avoid travelling and exertion
