Help understand my 1st ultrasound scan
Hi Doctor, please help me to understand my first ultrasound scan at 6 w 2 d but growth is as per 5 w this was TVS. What about cyst present in right ovary, is this a concern for me throughout my pregnancy?
Its an early scan.
Fetal pole or heart beat is not seen yet.
I would suggest to repeat ultrasound after one week.
You have a cyst in your right ovary . Do you have any complaints like abdominal pain or bledding ?
Few cysts may resolve, but few may increase in size as pregnancy continues.

If your routine menses get delayed , this could be normal . But has to confirm after 2 weeks as G sac size is very small and at this size , fetal heart not appreciated . For cyst , it can be observed in serial scans if it's decreasing

You should get this ultrasound repeated after 2 weeks as it's too early scan and fetal heart has still not developed so better to repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks and for cyst ultrasonography will be done to monitor it's size if it's size increases then u will need the treatment.
