HEARING PROBLEM
My Mother in law have lost her hearing ability approximately before 20 years. She was affected by Brain fever and as a side effect she lost her eye sight and hearing ability. After treatment she regained her eyesight but not the hearing ability. She is not willing to use the hearing aids as it leads to severe head ache.
Kindly let me know her possibilities of regaining her hearing ability?
How much hearing loss is seen on Pure Audiometry Test. Depending on her response in the test, she may need to use better quality hearing aids which have been programmed appropriately as per her requirements.
Next Steps
She has to be first seen by an E.N.T. Doctor and then current status of hearing has to be determined by the abovementioned test. Only after this the next step could be decided
