Hearing problem
My fiancee has a problem in hearing from left hear.Actually during his childhood he had a problem of could and cough so during that he did not cure it properly. After few years he realized that he could hear less from his left ear comparing to right ear.
His ent doctor told him that his left ear bone has stuck due which happened due to cold and cough. The doctor suggested to get an operation .Please suggest if it it can cause any serious problem like deafness in future ?
There are many causes for hearing loss such as sensory neural hearing loss, eustachian tube dysfunction, chronic otitis media, otosclerosis etc. Treatment depends on identifying cause for the hearing loss.
