My father alcohol withdrawal.. he have hearing hallucination since 4month and he could not go to hospital doctor consult

Is he still drinking alcohol regularly/ intermittently or has he stopped drinking? Withdrawal from alcohol does not last for 4 months. Unless he is binge drinking intermittently Elaborate on pattern of his drinking? If he has been drinking for long it would cause mental health issues. Considering his age has he got any problems with his hearing/ ears get it checked .

Auditory hallucinations are v common in alcoholics..need more details about his alcohol intake.. Duration.. Last use... Amount of alcohol.. And about the nature of his hallucinations... U can msg or call

It could be a withdrawal hallucination if he was continuously taking alcohol, or it can be seen as a continuation from the time the person had stopped alcohol. It could be part of alcohol induced psychosis. You need to discuss with the psychiatrist and treatment is available.
