Hernia is not a problem in the stitches. It is weakness of the abdominal wall. Please consult a Gynaecologist or General Surgeon in your area who can examine you and tell you exactly if you have hernia or not. Secondly,  healing of the wound after operation is a continuous process . After one year about 75-80% of healing has occurred. So, unless you have obvious bulge of Abdomen or the abdominal wall is hanging in front you, not much will be diagnosed at 6 weeks after Surgery.
