Hba1c, FBS and RBS

Iam non diabetic, iam tested lot of sugar and hba1c tests due to anxiety. Today iam teste my sugars at corporate lab. Hba1c vy hplc method. Hba1c 4.8 Mean plasma glucose 91 FBS 102. RBS at evening 104. Pls suggest. Can i avoid testing sugars? How often check sugars. The report shows normal or not? Regards.

Hello, HbA1C measured by hplc is the gold standard to diagnose diabetes or prediabetes. You HbA1C is within normal limits, no signs of diabetes. You random and fasting glucose is within the normal range. Therefore there is nothing to worry about. It’s not recommended that you check your sugars daily. Continue to eat healthy, exercise regularly and check you fasting sugar, sugar 2 hr post meals, h a1c and insulin levels every 6 months in the lab

Reports are normal. If u do not have a family history or diabetes, if u r not obese checking HbA1C alone once a year should be sufficient
