I got my lab reports today. My Hba1c is 5.5 and fasting blood glucose is 109.8 . Am I Prediabetic or shall I repeat the test?.

It can be control with diet and exercise, avoid sugar and carbohydrates diet. Walking required . Control on weight is important. Impaired fasting sugar report.

You are a pre diabetic by fasting blood glucose criteria, do check your post meal also. You have done the tests at right time, do connect after the reports and we can work on prevention of diabetes
