Hi, The symptoms you describe- depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and somatic focus (like attention on the head)- are treatable. The combination of Relixol (Etizolam + Escitalopram) and Cilapam Forte (Clonazepam + Escitalopram) is commonly prescribed for initial symptom relief. Yes, tapering off is possible- but only once symptoms are stable for a few months. Recovery time varies by person, but typically: a) Antidepressants (Escitalopram) may be required for 6–12 months or longer depending on severity and recurrence. b) Benzodiazepines (Clonazepam or Etizolam) are ideally tapered within 8–12 weeks, under medical supervision.
Next Steps
➡️ Continue medications as advised for now. ➡️ Follow up regularly with your psychiatrist to reassess need, dose, and plan a taper gradually. ➡️ Psychological support (like CBT or ERP for obsessive thoughts) can improve outcomes and reduce medication dependence. ➡️ For guided tapering and mind-body support, contact Neuronal Fix Clinic at +91 74X 52X 97X 67X 61X.
Health Tips
Do not attempt to stop them on your own-sudden discontinuation, especially of benzodiazepines, can worsen symptoms or cause withdrawal.

Hi there, It’s completely okay to want to taper off meds but please know this must be done slowly and under professional guidance, never abruptly. Your current symptoms (like obsessive thoughts and anxiety) might still need support, and meds are one part of the puzzle. Here’s what can really help you long-term:
Next Steps
You’re not alone. The right mix of meds, therapy, and self-awareness can free you.. slowly, but surely.

While observing your symptoms in follow up visits and response on the medications, medications one by one will be gradually tapered and continued on minimum effective dose. On tapering a single medication, maybe  2-3 wks will be needed and finally when your symptoms will be controlled to such extent that no more impairment in your life, a single medication in minimum dose will be continued. No need to worry, there is no dependence for this medication and most important to continue in follow up for a single doctor and do not miss medication. It will take near about 1 month for more than 50% improvement and will take approx 6 month for 70`% improvement . Rest 20-30%  improvement will be felt when you follow relaxation exercises, sleep hygiene, healthy lifestyle with these medications
