I have two half grown wisdom teeth on both side. They are half inside gums and half outside which are giving me pain and swealing. Problem remain for 5 to 7 days and then go for couple of month and then come back. Is there any permanent solution for this. I prefer not to go for surgery. Any solution to bring down pain and swealing.

Hello sir, the permanent solution for this is the removal of the 2 wisdom tooth. They are of no much use as they are vestigial tooth and doesn't help with chewing. You may take medication to bring down the discomfort but its not a permanent solution.

Visit dentist and evaluate if the tooth is coming straight. If its not straight and giving recurrent problems then you should get it removed. Do not fear removal because keeping a infected tooth in mouth is more dangerous. Visit a good MDS oral surgeon for tooth removal, it will give better results. Meanwhile apply ice from outside to the swollen area 3-4 times a day. Maintain good oral hygiene. Use mouthwash or warm saline water gargle.
