Shampoo is unlikely to help with hairfall. Because most commonly the underlying issue is the nutrition. Please share your diet and accordingly we will judge whether you require any blood investigations. Do you have flaky scalp? Please consult on practo app personally.

Check internal issues like proper hydration maintenance. In winters it's common to have dry skin. Continue to maintain moisture in skin. Check iron profile and Hb. Sometimes iron deficiency could be a reason for hair loss.

I am Dr Shamoon. Dry scalp and ongoing hair fall are often related to dandruff, scalp inflammation, nutritional deficiency or thyroid problems; shampoo alone may not fix the cause. Avoid frequent chemical treatments and tight hairstyles.
Next Steps
See a physician or dermatologist if shedding continues beyond a few weeks, with scalp examination and targeted tests if needed. You can book a Practo consultation for a personalised plan; do not start supplements blindly.

Cosmetic shampoos and coconut oil only moisturize the surface and cannot stop internal hair fall or regrow hair follicles. At 38, hair loss with a dry scalp is usually driven by male pattern thinning, nutritional gaps, or thyroid changes. Treating this effectively requires clinical evaluation rather than store-bought hair products.
Next Steps
Switch to a gentle, hydrating cleanser and avoid heavy oils that clog scalp pores. Check basic blood tests including Vitamin D3, Serum Ferritin, CBC, and a Thyroid Profile. Please book a consultation with me. so, we can evaluate your hair loss pattern and start targeted clinical treatment.
Health Tips
Do not waste time or money on commercial oils promising miraculous hair regrowth, as they lack medical proof. Avoid hot water showers and harsh rubbing with towels, which break weakened hair shafts. Acting early gives the best results before resting hair follicles become permanently dormant.

Hi, Dr. Varnika here. For your case, you need to give a proper history such as if anyone in family has same, and time period of this. As hairfall can be of many types, and depends on certain factors. Please get a blood profile test, vit B, Iron, thyroid profile too. Also sharing pictures to see what kind of hairloss, is needed.
Next Steps
kindly consult a Dermatologist is problem persists, as there is a specific treatment for every hairloss type. hope this helps!!
