If D&C was done for abortion then your Gynaecologist may like to find out if anyone of the TORCH Infections could be responsible for your abortion. During the process of abortion patient loses lot of blood. CBC will give an idea how much blood loss has been there. You pay money to your Gynaecologist. You should have enough courage to ask these simple questions from your Gynaecologist.
