As already stated, yes, u need to get the problem evaluated. If the root canal treatment is satisfactory (which will be assessed by a Xray), u should go for a good quality cap. You should not have ANY food accumulation if it is a good cap.

So food is getting struck bwtn ur cap and the gums that's means u are having space between the cap and gums,so either the cap has not completely covered the space surrounding the RCT treated tooth or u are hvg gum and bone issues which has to be looked into by the gum specialist.. consult ur doctr .a clinic visit and a x-ray s required to gv an exact comment on this issue

Hi, the capping on the concerned tooth may have to be reassessed. Sometimes if the cap is of improper fit, problems of such nature may occur. In any case please revisit your dentist and appraise him about the problem or else take a second opinion. All the best.
