After looking to the X-ray , u need re -root canal for the same tooth . It is because the Rct is not done properly, the filling material is extended . If the material doesn’t come out while re Rct then apicoectomy can be performed. But 100% the tooth needs treatment.

Hello, the x ray shows that rct was extended beyond root which is causing issues in your gums. Re rct is required immediately to prevent that tooth orelse this will damage it and you will have to get rid of the tooth.

Hello ,    According to the X ray provided , it is showing that RCT was done previously , was overextended beyond the tooth . As the tooth preparation was done beyond the level of tooth ending , so a Re RCT is required immedietly followed by proper healing should be achieved before obturation .
Next Steps
Visit your dentist to perform Re RCT . This time RCT time would be taken some longer time as it is needed to be healed.

Hi, You need to undergo Re- root canal treatment. The over extension of the root canal filling could be the reason for the swelling in the gums.
