There is a hole in my gums right next to my lower wisdom teeth. What could be the cause for it? It doesn't hurt though.

Hello. What do you mean by a hole? Can you send a clinical photo? Sometimes the wisdom tooth is partially impacted ( partly in bone) and hence gums around the tooth may seem inflammed.
