Gum discoloration 8years post implant

2018-04-10 15:07:48
I've had a dental implant placed as my right lateral incisor 8 years ago. For the past 2-3years, the superior aspect of the grey colored screw underneath is visible. Also, my gum superior to the implant have unsightly greyish discoloration. No pain or discomfort of any kind. Dental occlusion is correct. What could be the issue? Which specialist dentist should I correct? Orthodontist or prosthodontist?

Visit to Implantologist with speciality in periodontics .....it might be due to bone bone surrounding implant and gum recession. Implant maintenance is of atmost importance after placement.
