Gum bleeding only in one area
Hi, I'm 40 years old. I have gum bleeding mostly on one side near one specific tooth.i do not have bad breath. I got my teeth cleaned and scaled 2 months back. I applied stolin gel for a week. I keep getting those bleeds once a week or so when I brush my teeth in the morning and mostly in the same area. Is this weakness of gums, do I have a deficiency? My blood test reports are normal for everything that I took 2 months back. Please advice as it's worrying to see blood while brushing on and off. Can I use a betadine mouth wash. I brush twice and I do maintain hygiene. Thank you and happy new year!

Their could be many reasons for bleeding from particular area in oral cavity like any deposits on tooth, any carious tooth, infection in gum, bone loss, brushing too hard etc. Need to evaluate complete history before guiding anything.
Try to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day, use soft bristle toothbrush, warm saline water rinses two to three times a day.

Hope you are doing good. Dont worry, its nothing to be frightened. It may be due to some plaque formation over there. Using mouthwash will not stop bleeding. You can gargle with warm salt water daily and if you get bleeding on the same spot please do visit us. We will identify the cause and get it treated. Mostly it may be due to plaque formation. If you have any deficiency , the bleeding will be generalised and most of the areas of the gums
