This may a type of benign bone lesion. Usually it remains without causing any problems. Sometimes it causes pain, bursa formation and restrictions of joint or pressure symptoms. It may show rapid growth with growth spurt in child. Indications of surgery are above signs and symptoms. Malignant transition is rare. Consult once in a while if problem arise.
