Grey pigmentation and OSMF
I have osmf and grey pigmentation inside my cheeks. I have consulted an ENT and m taking turmi q tablet once a day and Stoma Care ointment for local application. I was in the habit of chewing pan masala and smoking for the past 15 years and i have quit the habit completely now.I am unable to eat spicy food
. Wanted to understand how will i b able to eat spicy food and if i dont start the habit again, will it never convert into carcinoma. Please help doctors as i am too worried. What should be the line of treatment. What are the chances of malignancy. Will these patches ever regress.

Yes the patches in the oral cavity will regress with time . Have to stop tobacco products , supari .
The chance of converting to malignancy cannot be predictable.
Regular follow with your ENT .
