Grade 3 placenta at 28 weeks

In my  28 week scan report, it was mentioned that placenta is Grade 3. Now i am in 31 weeks 5 days and having period like cramps and more pelvic pressure and some contractions inbetween. Is placenta ageing and these pains are normal?

There are certain things during pregnancy which are best forgotten. Grade III Placenta is one of them. You can do nothing about it. At the best the Gynaecologist will start assessing by 34 weeks if there is any deficiency of blood supply to the baby and force you to have a Caesarean. These are the side effects of having advanced Electronic Monitoring of the pregnancy.

Pains are unrelated to the placental aging U can get an ultrasound done to find out the current status of placenta U need to be examined to rule out preterm labour pains
