Dr I have high myopia and progressive myopia having power -17D and -10.5D , my opthalmologist told me that screen time or near work activities ( reading , using digital devices ) only effects in childhood  means it does not lead to more change of glass power at this age.  so is that true ?

The power will change, till your growth, as it depends upon the eye size.pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
