Gestational dibeties: fasting sugar high

2020-01-12 09:31:26
I am 7 months pregnant; with twins; my morning sugar is hovering at 110 (it should be 95 or less); but remaining part of the day it is within range (less than 130; 2 hrs from eating food) I have been advised of taking insulin (levemr 5 unit); i an scared to take insulin. I think this can reduce my sugar level drastically; also I am scared with the side effect it may have on  my babies and on me;  should I eat diabetic medicine? Doctor said eating diabetic medicine in twins is not advisable. Please advise.
