Gestational Diabetes

I am 29 weeks pregnant and is having gestational diabetes. I am taking Glycomet 500 mg twice a day, and despite taking medicine, my blood sugar level usually is around 140 - 150 mg/dl after 2 hrs of meal. Will this create any complications in pregnancy

It's on higher side ,needs to be started on other medications.

Hi It's on the higher side , are u taking care if diet restrictions,  n exercise . If yes , consult ur doctor. There are complications related to GDM

postprandial,  that is after 2 hr 140 is acceptable
