Hello Doctor, I am 32 weeks pregnant.I have gestational  diabetes.I am taking metformin 1000mg twice daily from the 28 th week . Suddenly I loose 2 kg weight. Is it because of metformin? Does metformin effect baby's growth and development? Does it cause growth restriction?

No metformin only controls sugar levels Doesn't cause growth restriction Or weight loss Weight loss may b due to restricted sugar intake
