Gastritis for a few months. Please advis
Hello, I have gastritis symptoms for a few months that are under some control with ppi meds like Pantocid, fexoclue, vonalong and digene. But gastroenterologist has suggested an expensive endoscopy. Is there any other cheaper way to diagnose for suspected pathogens that may be causing this issue? Please advise. Thanks!

see endoscopy is something which u should undergo as chronic gastritis have its own problems associated withitself
and ruling out any anatomical problem causing gastritis and changes due to gastritis can be diagnosed and managed with endoscopic intervetion moreover RUT should be done for H. Pylori

If you have tried everything and conservative treatment is not working, we need to evaluate it to get to the root cause. So we need to exclude H.pylori so i recommend you do Rapid urease test or as suggested Upper GI Endoscopy. Consult for further assistance.
