The cap has to be replaced by a new cap with tight contacts. If not replaced the food trapped might cause decay of adjacent teeth

No problem isn’t going to solve on it’s own. Try flossing to remove the food. If this isn’t helping then maybe you need to replace the crown.

The contact area between the two needs to be broad enough to prevent food from getting stuck. Hello,    This happens because the crown you have is not seated properly with the neighboring tooth. (the contact between the crown and the next tooth is not tight enough).    For the time being, you can avoid eating fibrous foods like meat on that side, and clean whatever is stuck there with a thread called the dental floss, (available in medical stores).    On the longer run, it is better to get the crown changed with one that fits really well. Contact between your teeth is not proper.. get ur check up down once so u can solve ur problem..

There may be a problem with the contact between the crown and the adjacent tooth. Ideally the crown should be replaced or else it may damage the adjacent tooth also
