Hi I had ganglion cyst on my left wrist which I got removed in 2nd attempt. During 1st attempt doctor was able to pull out only liquid but not the cyst, which was removed successfully only in 2nd attempt. I got its biope done which tells it was non cancerous mucous. However, I am still suffering from mild pain especially when pressed and seems like there is little swelling at the same place. Please suggest what it could be and how to treat it. Whether via medication, pain killer or going under knife once again?

Lesser the surgery, better it is. Treating  with antiinfammatory  drugs in due course of time ,gives better results.

This is normal reaction after any surgical procedure, start doing desensitization therapy around the scar tissue.

You have already got biopsy done, ideally ganglion is managed with percutaneous decompression . If you do not have a issue with surgery then get the ganglion sac excised. It will be the permanent solution to this problem. But if you don't want surgery then go for percutaneous/USB guided needle decompression and intralesional depoprednisolone application.
