Gallbladder Surgery

My mother has severe sleep apnea but needs to be operated laproscopically for Gallbladder Removal Surgery soon.. Can she go in for this surgery? Will it be safe for her? What can I do to make it safer?

She can go for surgery from surgical aspect. But regarding anaesthesiology aspect, I suggest have a PFT of her done. If she is obese then weight reduction is encouraged. Is she hypertensive or diabetic?
