Gall bladder polyp

Hi, I am a 30 years old male. One and half year back during normal routine health checkup I came to know there is gall bladder polyp of 4mm in my gall bladder. After 3 continious follow up in each 6 months, I found GB polyp is of same size I.e 4mm. What can I conclude, I remain tensed and can't live life freely as at a very early age I am having this, so remain worried as if it will create issue in coming time(5 to 10 years). Could anyone here guide me as polyp size is not growing and is stable, so it will not cause any serious problem in coming time(let's say 20 to 30 years)

We consider 1cm polyp or a rapidly growing polyp to warrant a gallbladder removal surgery as the chances of it turning into cancer is possible. For a 4mm polyp I would suggest you to wait, get repeat scans done once a year. Do not worry! :)

[  ] Hi Gall bladder polyp is common as in other part of body such is generally benign condition. Gall bladder polyp requires removal of gall bladder when the size of a single polyp is more than 1 cm because chances of developing cancer of gall bladder is 2 percent higher than in general population. Laparoscopic removal is done for this. We have expertise in this field.  Feel free to ask any further quary related to it. Keep well.

If too much tense then can go ahead with surgery. As needed regularly follow up for polyps

Evidence says in 90 percent cases it won’t turn into malignancy if less than 5 mm However instead of being anxious better get cholecystectomy done
