You should have shared your x-ray here. Anyway, root canals with furcation involvement have poor rate of success. Better go with extraction. But the final decision can only be taken after seeing your xray.

Its hard to predict the success rate of furcation invovlved RCT treated tooth. If the tooth is not salvageable then order replacement options would be immediate implant if feasible and last option bridge.

If the word 'furcation involvement' has been communicated to you from/by the dentist itself after he/she took your x ray of that tooth- root canal treatment isn't advisable due to low success rate. A bridge or an implant shall be the line of treatment you shall opt for.

Hi.. failure rate is high in furcation involvement. Extraction is best followed by bridge or implant. Regards

Normally RCT treatment does Not show a good long term prognosis in case of furcation involvement. Instead a bridge or implant after extraction of the tooth would give a better long term prognosis.

Furcation involvement cases do not have a good prognosis so it is possible to remove it and go for replacement either an implant or bridge..
