There can be several reasons behind the pain your husband is experiencing. Knee joint pain can be caused by a variety of conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, bursitis, or tendonitis. Front thigh pain can be due to muscle strain or injury, nerve compression, or vascular problems. Buttock pain can also have a range of causes, such as sciatica, piriformis syndrome, or spinal stenosis.
