Hi, frequent reflux like this often responds well to simple changes over time.  Smaller meals, avoiding late dinners, spicy/oily food and raising your bed head can reduce the need for Sompraz long term.  It's generally safe short term but best not to increase dose yourself.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.

Increasing the dosage of Sompraz-D 40 to twice a day on your own is not recommended and can be medically unsafe . Sompraz-D contains a combination of Esomeprazole (an acid suppressant) and Domperidone (a prokinetic agent) . While taking a plain proton pump inhibitor (PPI) twice a day is sometimes prescribed for severe reflux under strict medical supervision, doubling a combination drug that contains Domperidone carries a potential risk of side effects, including cardiac rhythm changes (QT prolongation), and should never be done without a proper clinical evaluation. If your frequent acid reflux is persisting irrespective of what you eat, it suggests that the current treatment plan needs to be re-evaluated, or a different medical approach needs to be added (
