My wife has multiple round of USG which shows free fluid in pod , we had done pap smear as well which shows inflammatory smear afterthat we did vaginal culture sensitivity test where the result is negative which means no growth of aerobic microorganisms.. so my question is this case is normal or it can be a sign of cervical cancer??

Fluids in the pouch of Douglas suggests Pelvic inflammation. It can also be a recently ruptured graafian follicle. Pap smear is negative. No evidence of Herpes simplex. Cancer would have given some evidence in the Pap smear. I think it is a simple case of Pelvic Infection. To be managed accordingly.
