Fractures and ac joint displacement

I have separated ac joint,with a fractured collarbone and a fracture through the base of my coracoid process. But my doctor doesn't think i need surgery. I am a active person and need use of my arm back . Its been a month and it still hurts and i have minimal range of motion. What do you think ?
