For Humanity, Please Help Me

2026-04-22 18:09:54
Is there any psychologist who can provide me ERP therapy for free? I am very distressed because of OCD. I get automatic sexual images about my mother in my mind. I feel like I will die. Please help me. I don’t have money right now. I will pay later whatever I can. Please, if any psychologist can help me on humanitarian grounds.

Hi, I'm sorry you're going through this. Look for free mental health services through local clinics, community health centers, or online organizations like Open Path or Crisis Text Line. Some universities also offer free or low-cost therapy with supervised students. Reach out to local support groups or helplines for immediate help. Your well-being matters.

Hi, I understand how distressing this feels, especially the intrusive sexual thoughts about someone close to you. This is a known OCD pattern and it does not reflect your character. These thoughts are unwanted and go against your values, which is why they feel so disturbing. Alongside approaching student clinics and consulting. You, can begin basic ERP self help by allowing the thought to be there without analysing or reacting to it. This helps reduce its intensity over time and trains your brain Tom manage the thought
Health Tips
Gently label it this is an intrusive OCD thought not a desire Do not analyse or fight the thought let it pass on its own Practice slow breathing to reduce panic in the moment Keep a simple routine with sleep and meals to stay stable Add regular exercise like walking or light workouts to reduce anxiety Avoid reassurance seeking as it strengthens the cycle Take one day at a time this can improve with the right approach.

Hi, thank you for sharing your distress so honestly. Intrusive unwanted thoughts can feel extremely frightening and emotionally exhausting, especially when the thoughts go against your values and make you feel guilty or scared. Please remember that intrusive thoughts in OCD are unwanted thoughts and do not mean that you truly want to act on them. Many people with OCD experience distressing intrusive thoughts that feel disturbing and out of control. Right now, it seems the anxiety, fear, and emotional distress around these thoughts are becoming overwhelming for you. Try not to blame or judge yourself harshly for the thoughts themselves. Instead of fighting every thought, focus on calming your mind and body gradually through breathing exercises, grounding techniques, routine balance, sleep, and reducing constant fear around the thoughts. ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and CBT-based therapy can be helpful for OCD symptoms. If possible, continue seeking support from a counselling psychologist or mental health professional experienced in OCD treatment whenever you are able to access support. Warm regards, Dr Namita Ranjan Counselling Psychologist

These thoughts are not intentional and can be treated - they’re a known OCD symptom. You could consider reaching out to mental health NGOs or OCD support groups that sometimes offer free or low-cost ERP guidance
