I had root canal treatment.. my dentist advised me to stay away from food that can cause pus Or dental nerve pain..i m really confused about eating bananas and milk in breakfast

Hey, as such there is no restrictions in eating any food items after a root canal treatment, if your treatment isn’t completed yet and the filling is temporary, avoid eating hard food items and if the treatment is completed and a cap has been put over the treated tooth the only thing you should avoid is sticky things such as eclairs or chewing gum Rest you are allowed to eat everything

Hi, as such there are no food to avoid after a root canal treatment. But if you don't have the cap placed over that tooth don't eat hard food from that side. In case there is infection even after Rct, get it re-evaluated.
