Foamy urine

2026-09-04 12:25:27
I am currently on my period. I am having some small blood clots, and since my bleeding is quite heavy, I take Trenexa 500. Today, I noticed foam in my urine. Could the menstrual blood mixing with the urine during my period cause the urine to appear foamy? This is my concern. Please help

Hi .Just check for foamy urine after your periods are over...If it continues, only then get a urine microscopy test done. Review with the report.

It could be urine infection . Get urine routine microscopy done .

Your period blood mixing with urine can genuinely make it look foamy, so this is likely just that and not a kidney problem.
Next Steps
If the foaminess continues after your period ends, get a simple urine test done to be sure.
