Floters infront of eye
For 20 days, something is seen floating in front of their eyes, due to which they are having some difficulty in seeing.

What is the age of the patient. Is he/she diabetic. If it is associated with difficulty in seeing then need to see an ophthalmologist urgently. If not,and if no diabetes then can probably wait. If the floaters number increase or associated with flashes or curtain fall like view then urgent consultation required.

1. If its recent onset black spot with decrease in vision, consult a doctor immediately
2. If its black spot with normal vision- then you can wait and watch. Nothing to worry

GENERALLY NOTHING TO WORRY AS IN 98-99% PEOPLE THIS MAY BE AN EXAGERATED NORMAL PHYSIOLOGICAL AGING PROCESS OF THE INSIDE OF BACK PORTION OF YOUR EYE WHICH IS KNOWN AS VITREOUS CONDENSATION. BUT IN 1-2% IT CAN BE BECAUSE OF SOME RETINAL PROBLEM FOR WHICH A BASELINE FULL DILATED PERIPHERAL RETINAL EXAMINATION AT LEAST ONCE IS A MUST

1- Do you have an already existing high minus spectacle power
2- How many floaters do you see (one, two or many)
3- are they associated with flashes of light
4- are they associated with any drop in vision or curtain like black patch in area of vision
